I'm Evelyn Sinclair and I'm an illustrator/artist based in Kendal, Cumbria. I have over 20 years experience in producing illustrations for everything from food and cosmetic packaging, to interpretation panels, exhibitions and countless logos, leaflets and brochures.

I'm a graduate of Glasgow School of Art (first class hons degree). At my degree show I was offered a job at a prestigious branch of Ogilvy & Mather in Glasgow. After several years working for high profile clients from all around Scotland, I moved to Kendal in the Lake District.

Having worked for several companies in Kendal,
I set up my own company in 2000.

AWARDS:

In 2014 I was shortlisted for the prestigious Association of Illustrators Awards for one of my illustrated maps.

In 2017, the first in a series of sticker books I've illustrated/designed  - 'The Lake District Sticker Book' -
won an inaugural National Trust 'Beatrix Potter' Award.

In 2020, a coffee-table book I illustrated - 'The Lake District in 101 Maps & Infographics' won both the 'The Latitude Press Prize for Illustration' and the top category  'Lakeland Book of the Year' in the Lakeland Book of the Year Awards.
