Rocket the Steampunk Bee
was part of the Bee in the City Trail
in Manchester for summer 2018. When sold at auction he raised £10,500 in aid of the Lord Mayor of Manchester's 'We Love MCR' Charity.
Rocket is a steampunk fantasy inspired by the industrial boom of Manchester in the 19th century.
He's based on Robert Stephenson's steam engine Rocket, chosen to power the Liverpool to Manchester Railway in 1830.
