Rocket, the Steampunk Bee

Rocket the Steampunk Bee
is part of the Bee in the City Trail
in Manchester for summer 2018,
in aid of the Lord Mayor of Manchester's 'We Love MCR' Charity.

Rocket is a steampunk fantasy inspired by the industrial boom of Manchester in the 19th century.
He's based on Robert Stephenson's steam engine Rocket, chosen to power the Liverpool to Manchester Railway in 1830.

The steampunk genre can be described as 'Victorian inspired science fiction' (think Jules Verne novels). This mechanical, steam driven bee is piloted by splendid steampunk adventurers.
