Dreaming through the Locking Glass
This is a project launched by award-winning Cumbrian book publishers Inspired by Lakeland to record artists' responses to the Covid19 lockdown. The project sees the artwork and thoughts of selected artists published in a high quality book. Profits from sales of the book will be divided between local NHS and arts orgsanisations.
I advised and helped produce the call-out brief, and produced the key publicity image (right - 'Reflection') in response to the book title/concept. I then acted as editorial consultant, helping the publisher sort through the many wonderful entries submitted.
I created the 'windows' front cover illustration and also have a spread in the final book with a very different type of illustration artwork - 'Haven' (an on-going development piece, so not currently pictured here).
